I've just walkedd in the door, so I'll give you what i remember: mens 800m: Keffri Neal 1:52. keane 1:53..I am not sure of 3rd....I think think maybe Therrien...a good race!! 1500m: Neal 3:49 (split 3:08), Williams 3:54, Keane, Therrien, Gravel, Clifford (don't quote me on any of this) i am kinda guessing...but 6th was 3:55/56. Keffri simply went out and dared anyone to follow (split 61, 3:05/6, 3:08) 3000m: williams in around 8:45, Gravel, and a bunch of guys from 8:40 high to 9:00 Steeple: Patrick Psotka, Bruchet, Deschiffort (around 6 for the winner) females: 800m : Sarah Bailey (2:14), Alison Williams 1500m: Kala Stone (4:36), Humeniuk

For the first time in many years, the boy's 400m and 1500m were deeper than Ontario. The #1 and #2 runners in the 400m - Restall and Harding are back again next year. In the 1500m, Clifford and Gravel (both 3:56.11) are back for another year. _________________________________________________________________________________ @firehouse

@youngjz The results lead him to that conclusion. Take a look. The 1500 was faster at the front and deeper on the back. Won in 3:50 and 6th was 3:56.

@Canrunner2662 They had one guy who was way faster, and if you combine all the age groups like BC's is (correct me if I'm wrong), then Ontario's 1500 was still deeper. And the 400 was way deeper at OFSAA with a guy under 47 and the average time being faster

The times in the 1500m race are fairly impressive. However, it also depends on how fast the race went out considering the finals of the senior boys went out extremely slow. So if the boys in Ontario went out as fast as the boys in BC(if they did) i wonder if the times would've been significantly faster? Also any of the top 5 boys at ofsaa 3000m would have won the 3000m race in BC which also shows that the fields were deeper in Ontario.

@DAF2 They went out agonizingly slow, and Yves's last lap was around 54.

In the BC Provincials, the winner in the 1500 ran the last 800 in 1:59.and the last 400 in 56.4 running out front the entire race.He could have easily gone 3:45.Maybe a little better. He then came back and ran 1:52.2 less than two hours later, going out in the first 400m in 57 and finishing in 54.He finished both of those races very strong. The 3000 winner who won in 8:45,finished his last lap in 55.He could have run much faster. My point: there are good runners in many places, and I appreciate the kids for their effort(whatever it is,wherever it is).I don't care if one place is "deeper" than another place.Yes,Ontario has many wonderful runners. We have a few as well.
