Reagan Versus Southeast Raleigh Boys 4x200m
We knew a big battle between 4A sprint powerhouses Southeast Raleigh and Reagan was going to go down at the VA Showcase and it lived up to the hype. Both teams were in the fast section with lane 1 being Reagan and lane 2 being Southeast Raleigh. The heat resulted in a national record from Bullis who ran 1:25.60.
Southeast Raleigh led Reagan through pretty much the entire race, but DJ Moyer of Reagan had a huge anchor leg bringing the Raiders back from 5th to 3rd over the final 5 meters. Reagan ran a NC#3 All-Time mark of 1:28.73 while Southeast Raleigh ran NC#5 All-Time at 1:28.81. This will be one of the more exciting events at the NCHSAA 4A Indoor State meet this season.
