Northwestern alumnus Mitch Greeley cleared a second place height of 5.00 meters in the pole vault at the Pan Am Junior Athletics Championships in Windsor, Ontario Friday.
Winning the event was German Chiaraviglio of Argentina with a 5.40 meter best.
Greeley is a rising sophomore at Clemson University.
South Carolina rising sophomore Amberly Nesbitt (JL Mann) was a member of the United States women\'s 4x100 team that placed first in 43.97.
Nesbitt placed fifth overall in the 100-meter finals in 11.89. Nesbitt ran a preliminary mark of 11.81.
