(Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada)-- The USA men's and women's 4x100m relay squads swept strong fields fields on a warm, sunny day at the Universite de Moncton to capture two more gold medals at the 2010 World Junior Championships.

The women's relay team was led off by last night's 200m gold medallist Stormy Kendrick, who handed off to Takeia Pinckney and Dezerea Bryant. Ashley Collier anchored the American team. Their winning time of 43.44 is world-junior leading time for 2010.

The men's team was led off by Michael Granger, who was followed by Charles Silmon, Eric Harris. By the time Oliver Bradwell was handed the baton, the American team enjoyed a substantial and ultimately insurmountable lead over their Jamaican counterparts, who were anchored by 100m gold medallist Dexter Lee. The winning US time of 38.93 is a world-leading mark for 2010 and also the second-fastest junior mark of all time.
