With another strong Friday, including big points in the 300m (which was won by Toronto's Alicia Brown) and the 60m hurdles (which was won by Toronto's Hayley Warren), Calgary and Toronto raced off to a lead in the women's meet although Guelph has hung in thanks to a strong showing in the 3000m, which was won by Andrea Seccafien.

The men's team race also remains tight as Windsor and Guelph matched up for big pioints in the 3000m (which was won by Kelly Wiebe of Regina) and the 1000m (which was won by Stephen Holmes).

As all teams have lots of competitors expected to score in finals Saturday afternoon the meets on both sides may be decided in the 4x400m relay.
