After early season competition, Christian Gravel remains the unanimous favourite as third-ranked St. George's looks to defend its title from last year. Deon Clifford was challenged by Tim Delcourt at a meet on the 14th and that should also be a good race. Dover Bay and Kwantlen Park are expected to battle for the team title.

West Point Grey Academy remains the favourite to capture the team title over Oak Bay while Katelyn Hayward remains the heavy favourite at the mid point of the season. last year's champion from Killarney, Tanya Humeniuk, right on her heels. Ashley Windsor outkicked Alex Siemens to move into the top-five and is apparently a good hill runner, which is expected to play into her favour at Kelowna.
