SENIOR BOYS: Five-time defending champions Vincent Massey (Windsor) were hit hard by graduation and given no love by the voters without a single vote cast for them to finish in the top-five. With Connor Darlington (R.S. McLaughlin) returning for a fifth year, R.S. McLaughlin (Oshawa) is the slight favourite over a Theriault (Timmins) squad led by Paul Raymond. Xavier King (Pickering) and last year's OFSAA champion Yves Sikuwabo (Glebe) both return this season and are expected to contend for the individual crown with rumors of Sikuwabo's injury woes leading some voters to discount his chances. LOSSA should (not) be a fun district this season with three teams ranked in the top ten provincially.

SENIOR GIRLS: After being supplanted by Vincent Massey (Windsor) for last year's crown, Westdale (Hamilton) are the pre-season favorites to win back their championship in 2011. Holding off St. Thomas Aquinas (London) will be difficult, especially with the London school expected to have Hillary Stafford in the top five. Jaclyn White (Mother Theresa) gained the most first-place votes and the defending champion will face plenty of competition from Stafford, Jamie Phelan (St. Mary's) and Megan Yuan (St. Ignatius) to stay on top.
