California Athletes; Purvis, Wilson, Richmond, Polytechnic, Strong Showing At NSIC

 Tara Richmond (Polytechnic, Long Beach) won the girls High Jump at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships in NY.  Richmond jumped 5-09.75

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The girls from Speed City Track Club (Polytechnic High School) in long beach won the 4x200 meter relay in a very close race with Cardoza.  Cardoza initially won the event in 1:40.21 but was disqualified when there first exchange went out of zone.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sophomore Trinity Wilson (St. Mary's College, Berkely), is leading the 60 meter hurdles with the fastest prelim time of 8.43.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Senior Ashton Purvis (St. Elizabeth, Oakland) is the fastest qualifier out of the girls 60 meter dash with a time of 7.44.
