High level racing and competition isn't exclusive to the championship contests at the Saturday Night Lights meet; last year, nineteen athletes broke 17 minutes in the Varsity A event.
Greenon's Max Pettit took the win due to his 16:22.30 effort. The 2018 graduate went on to place sixteenth at the Division III State Championship meet and he ended his high school career by lining up at the prestigious Mid-East Championship at Indian Riffle Park in Kettering. He set his pr of 16:08.48 at the District - Cedarville meet during his senior year.
